If you’re about to head to Paris for a vacation chances are you’ll want to see all the sights and enjoy yourself as much as possible. Sainte-Chapelle

If you are a lover of architecture, you will love spending time at Sainte-Chapelle. This beautiful Gothic royal chapel has to be seen to be believed. This is mostly thanks to its stained-glass windows, but the whole chapel is simply stunning. Built in the 13th century by Louis IX, the chapel took just 7 years to build. A UNESCO World Heritage site and is located at 8 Boulevard du Palais, 75001 Paris.

Take your camera with you and get ready to enjoy spending time in one of the world’s most beautiful chapels. Originally intended to house Christian relics, the chapel is visited by thousands of people every year.

Galaries Lafayette Paris Haussmann

Whether you plan to spend your whole vacation trying to navigate Paris’ busy streets or you’ve booked private experiences with locals, there’s one place you just have to visit. Galaries Lafayette Paris Haussmann is a department store that’s can be found in the Opera business district. Take time away from those tours to spend an unforgettable day here. You have not seen a department store until you’ve spent time here. Stretched out over 7 floors, this beautiful store is one you will never forget.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to enjoy yourself here. You can simply indulge in a spot of window shopping should you wish to. Take your time, explore each level and enjoy people watching.

Virtual Reality Flight over Paris

Would you like to experience something different while you’re in Paris? You’re in luck, you can enjoy a virtual reality tour over the city. Located at 30 Rue du septembre, 75002 Paris, this experience will take you on a flight above the City of Lights. The whole flight is something that will stay with you forever. This is because you get to see Paris from a whole new perspective.

Filmed using real images and with the ability to make you feel like you’re really flying, you’ll also be given a jet pack(flight simulator) and a headset to complete the feeling. If you’re a lover of gadgets or you simply want to try something that’s a little out of this world, this is the place to be.

The virtual reality flight is a good way for you to see the whole city, especially if you have children with you. They will simply adore the experience and they’ll be perfectly safe the whole time.

The Eiffel Tower

You simply cannot spend any amount of time in Paris without visiting the Eiffel Tower. One of the world’s most famous landmarks, the tower stands proudly above the city and it’s easy to see why. While many people are happy to take a selfie in front of this magnificent structure, you can go one step further. You can opt to climb up the tower, should you wish.

There are 704 steps to climb up but you could always take the elevator. However, it might be quicker climbing the 30+ flights than it is to wait in the queue!. From the viewing platform, you will see the Champs-Elysee and the Arc de Triomphe. Make sure you have your camera with you so you can snap photographs as soon as you’ve got your breath back.

If you would like to make your way to the summit, please note, there is an option for you to do this. However, you’ll need to make sure you have a real head for heights. When you get to the summit you can enjoy a glass of Champagne, should you wish to, before taking the elevator back down again.

If you are fortunate enough to be going to Paris, you will need to be prepared to have a great time. While your vacation might be full of tours and sightseeing, it’s likely to be one you’ll never forget.
