That’s right: you can even focus your marketing techniques on segmenting toward a population of people based on their behaviors while shopping online.

These are further broken down into sub-segments in digital marketing, such as:

  • how loyal the audience is to your products/services
  • how often the audience uses your products/services already
  • if the audience is purchasing for a specific event
  • what benefits the audience thinks they can receive

With these, you can hone in on different focus groups or market segments based on their buying behavior.
