1. Palm Springs for Coachella

Palm Springs, which is located in California hosts the annual Coachella music festival, which is arguably the most popular music festival in the US and which features an impressive line up of artists from different music genres. Some examples of artists who are set to perform at Coachella or who have performed at Coachella in the past include Khlaid, Ariana Grande, Janelle Monae, Madonna, Calvin Harris and The Weeknd.

While thousands of individuals from across the country and the world visit Coachella for its impressive line ups, Coachella also attracts crowds due to its festival vibe. With most individuals who attend Coachella donning festival fashion.

If you are interested in visiting Palm Springs for Coachella, make sure to book accomodation at one of Palm Springs’ luxurious resorts, many of which will offer exclusive parties during the duration of the music festival.

3. Harbin, China for the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival

Harbin is home to the largest annual show festival in the world and is packed full of huge snow and ice based sculptures, many of which are the size of large buildings and have to be seen to believed. An example of which was a Niagara Falls themed ice sculpture which was 250 meters long and 8.5 metres high.

Each year the festival chooses a theme which the festival is inspired by and its fun to see how different entrants interpret the yearly theme.

If you visit Harbin to attend the Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival its well worth walking around the festival’s parks at night as many of the ice and snow sculptures on display are brightly illuminated with colourful lights and night.

Just be sure to book your accomodation and tickets to the festival early, if you plan on attending as the festival attracted 18 million festival goers in 2017 and is an incredibly popular event to attend.

4. Albuquerque, New Mexico for the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Festival

Alburquerque is home to the most visited hot air balloon festivals in the world. Each year more than 500 of the largest, most quirky hot air balloons in the world travel to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. So if you would love to gaze up at the sky and to see hundreds of unique hot air balloons float above your head, it’s well worth putting the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Festival on your bucket list.

Some of the types of hot air balloons which you can expect to see include cartoon character and animal shaped hot air balloons as well as more traditional hot air balloons.

If you’re lucky you may even get to book an early morning hot air balloon flight, for an incredible once in a lifetime experience that you’ll never forget.

So if you’re an enthusiastic festival fan, it’s well worth visiting Palm Springs, Harbin and Albuquerque in order to tick three more international festivals off your bucket list.
